December: Cycling on hold!

The days are getting colder here in Ohio. The weather has become normally unpredictable, and my bikes are hanging on racks in the basement. The local ski area plans to open this week so it looks as if I may be on the slopes soon instead of cycling.

This is the time of year that I try to catch up on all of the chores I have put off throughout the year! Last weekend I spent painting the master bedroom. I can't begin to tell you how important it is to have a good MP3 player, like Foghorn Leghorn said, "...for just such an occasion".

Last night I went to a local cycle club meeting. One guy rode his bike to the meeting. The temperature must have been below 20 degrees. Man, that's dedication!!

I've been working on some "branding" graphics volunteer work for an NPO. I've successfully blown off a week of exercise at the gymn and am feeling quite guilty for it!

You know those spinning classes aren't half bad after all. I suppose I need the instructors prompts after all. "C'mon, fast legs, lets go, push your bike!!!" I'm looking forward to the next spin... I'm waffling, it's a love hate relationship at the gym.

Gotta wax and de burr those skis soon too!!
