A month or 2 ago, I had sent an e-mail to bikeblogs.com asking to be added to their list of blogs. Being into cycling for "fun" and blogging because of my enthusiasm for riding, I really don't want to make cycling into too much of a job. Isn't that what blogs are about find something you like and write about it.
Below is the e-mail I recived from bikeblogs.com:
Thanks for emailing us about your cycling blog.
At this time, we do not add blogs to our directory that are brand new and only contain a few updates. We like to wait until a blog has more regular postings over a period of, say, 3-4 months. By doing this, it prevents us from adding blogs that "fizzle out" after a few postings when the blogger loses interest. We hate to do that, but it is the only way for us to maintain a directory of cycling blogs that have regular updates and lots of good content/photos.
Please email us back in a few months once you have kept updating your blog on a regular basis, and then we will consider adding it to our directory.
Thanks,
BikeBlogs.com World Headquarters ;-)

However, the "add your blog page' seems totally different;
Add Your Blog
If you want your bike-related blog added to our directory, follow these steps...Step 1: Link To Our Website
To do this, just add the following link to your website...
Name: BikeBlogs.com
Address: http://www.bikeblogs.com/
Step 2: Email Us Your Website Info
Email us at bikeblogs@yahoo.com with the name of your blog, the website address, what Blog Category you'd like it to be in, and a short description. Once we review your blog, we will add it to our daily update and to our bike blog directory.
** Please note that you must complete Step 1 above before we will add your website to our directory.
Since I had added the bikeblogs.com link to this site, in complience with the "rules", which seem to have changed, I have now removed the link.
Sorry, bikeblogs.com, I don't think were about the same type of cycling. I like to ride, and write about riding. Over the holidays I'm going to take a break, and when the shower in my house needs repaired I'll fix it. I don't plan on writing this blog to suit "bikeblogs.com" requirements for "blogging". By the way, I'm taking a ski trip at the end of the month. I may not make another entry until after my trip. (Just for anyone whose keeping track of how many entries I make per month.)
